ALL ABOUT 1N5 DYSLEXIA TUTORING
My Background
Are you looking for a tutor for dyslexia? Welcome! My name is Esther Collins and I am a private Certified Level 1 Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner. I am also Orton-Gillingham trained by the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education. I am from Houston, Texas, and now reside in the North Georgia mountains, Cleveland, GA. I am married and we have three young adults, two dogs, and one cat.

Before becoming a dyslexia practitioner, I began my career as a court reporter for ten years. After a period of time being a stay-at-home mom, I began my research on Orton-Gillingham to help our own children succeed in school. I have been in private practice since 2017. In March of 2020, I began to offer interventions services virtually. Now, 100% of my students are virtual due to the convenience online tutoring has to offer while students continue to make progress. Many students thrive with online instruction because it provides a comfortable, distraction-free learning environment.
I am not only a specialist for children with dyslexia, I am also a parent that has been through the dyslexic journey. Orton-Gillingham was well worth the investment into our children's educational journey. They are now successful in their education. OG is such an invaluable service for our children, and I have seen it through the lens of a parent as well as a dyslexia practitioner. Let me help ease your worries and your child's frustrations and begin the start of their journey towards being a successful reader.

WHAT IS ORTON-GILLINGHAM?
Orton-Gillingham tutoring is a structured literacy approach designed for students with dyslexia and reading difficulties.
